I’ve been studying lines and shapes with my body for my whole life. So I think that’s the thing you end up seeing, at least that’s what I see in it. I’m still focused on creating shapes and lines, only now with flowers. By Marisa Competello

The body is in three dimensions. There is the physical realm that you can feel, touch and smell. There is the circulatory realm that nourishes the entire body through your blood and the food you eat. And you have your nervous system, which nourishes your circulation. You also have a spiritual one that is imperceptible, how you believe, what is your faith. The way you think will affect the way your blood flows which affects your skin. So all of them are in communication with each other all the time, fluctuating and changing according to what is occurring externally. By Isabelle Bellis
